Mark serves as a Portfolio Manager and is a member of the firm’s investment committee. In this role, he helps shape the firm’s investment philosophy and oversees portfolio construction, asset allocation, risk management, and trading to implement firmwide strategies and deliver customized client portfolios.
With 15 years of industry experience, Mark began his career as an equity research analyst at a Minneapolis-based investment bank, where he spent seven years. In 2019, he transitioned to the advisory side, serving as a portfolio analyst at Royal Bank of Canada and later as an investment strategist at a mid-sized Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) in Minneapolis. Mark is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charterholder, an active member of both the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Minnesota, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Quantitative Economics from the University of Minnesota.
Mark serves on the Board of Directors for Normandale Community College, which he supports through fundraising, strategic oversight, and helping to address barriers such as food and housing insecurity so students can focus on their education and future success. Mark lives in Bloomington with his wife and three young daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family—whether at the playground, on the backyard trampoline, at basketball games, or fitting in a round of family golf whenever they can all squeeze onto the cart.
